William James Mariano
Age 88, of Boynton Beach, FL died October 24, 2013 at Hospice By the Sea in Boca Raton, FL. Born in Dedham, MA, he had been a resident of Boynton Beach. Prior to retirement, he was an Insurance Salesman with the MetLife and was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his son, William J. Mariano, Jr. of Boynton Beach; 2 daughters, Lynda Goodmuth of Boynton Beach and Dale Hannigan of Rockland, MA; one brother, James Mariano of Scituate, MA; two sisters, Anna McDermott of Rockland, MA and Rita Lagace of Miami, FL; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He was preceded by his beloved wife, Mildred Yates Mariano, his parents Guerino and Mary Grace Mariano and his granddaughter, Kimberley Ann Cavinta.
Services will be conducted at 11 AM, Friday, November 1, 2013 at the South Florida Veterans Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL with Full Military Honors by the US Navy.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Palm Beach National Chapel in Lake Worth, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice by the Sea, 1531 W. Palmetto Park Rd., Boca Raton, FL 33486 in his memory.
