Mr. William C. Carlin Jr. of Wellington, FL passed away on Wednesday, June  1, 2022 with his family by his side. He was 71 years old.

A devoted family man, William married Molly M. Simmons August 21st 1976.  William dedicated his life to his two children. William was predeceased by his  parents, Betty Jane Carlin, William Charles Carlin, and his sister, Rhoann Hall Carlin. He is survived by his two daughters, Amy L. Carlin, and Katherine T. Carlin and numerous cousins.

Born in Dayton, Ohio on September 8,1950, William previously lived in  Oakwood, Ohio. He attended Oakwood High School, graduating class of 1968  and received his degree from Tulane University in 1972. William served his  country as Captain in the United States Marine Corps from 1972-1979. He  was a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, Expert Rifle Badge,  and Expert Pistol Badge. He worked 20-plus years at BellSouth  Telecommunications, and was also employed by TELECO INC. William loved  his country and was a hard-working man.

William loved sports and enjoyed spending time on the golf course. He enjoyed watching football and had a passion for playing the bagpipes and  creating Bonsai trees.

Services for William C. Carlin Jr. will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at  10 a.m. at the Palm Beach National Chapel, followed by Military Honors at the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7 Lake Worth, FL 33449.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Trustbridge Hospice of Palm Beach County would be greatly appreciated.
