Stephen John Tagliaferri, 65, of Lake Worth, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013.
He was born on May 10, 1947 to the late Anthony Tagliaferri and Edith Granieri in Brooklyn, NY. Steve enjoyed his career as a real estate investor.
Steve was a beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather. He loved to spend time with his family, read, sit on the patio and was an avid fan of history. More than anything, his favorite thing to do was to spend time with his beautiful wife, the love of his life. They were inseparable nearly every second of every day throughout their entire marriage.
Steve is survived by his wife, Lu, and siblings June Ferretti (Skippy), George Tagliaferri (Maryann), and Michael Tagliaferri (Patty). He is survived by nine children: Stephen Tagliaferri (Lucy), Joseph Tagliaferri (Cindy), Frankie Fanto (Sheila), Anthony Fanto, Jolene Gangi (Frank), Leighanna Rizea (Steven), James Tagliaferri (Ashley), Jake Tagliaferri (Christina), and Kristofer Tagliaferri. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Palm Beach National Chapel, 10055 Heritage Farms Rd, Lake Worth, FL 33449. Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, 10941 Southern Blvd, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411.
