Stephen John Horwath passed peacefully with his wife by his side on Sunday, November 12, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Dolores Horwath as well as his children Robert Horwath, Linda Horwath (Daddio) and Pam Kelly (John Boy), Theresa and Harvey Doischen. Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren Kevin Horwath, Meghan and Michael Prediger, and Jesse Doischen. Great grandchildren Brayden and Emelia Prediger.  He is preceded in death by his parents and four sisters, Aunts and Uncles.

Stephen was born on February 1, 1935, in Raritan, New Jersey to his parents Steven and Mary Horwath. He attended school in Raritan, New Jersey. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in June 1952 with an Honorable Discharge in January 1956. He met the love of his life in August 1956.

He worked for the United States Post Office as a mail carrier for 32 years from 1958 to 1987 in New Brunswick, New Jersey and then transferred to Boynton Beach Florida until he retired in 1990. Awards included 30 years of Safe Driving, Humanitarian efforts in looking after and aiding senior citizens.

He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
