Sidney M. Burch
91, of Lantana, FL and formerly of Lake Worth, died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the J. Robert Lauer Hospice Unit. Born in Washington, D.C., he had been a resident of Florida the past thirty years. Prior to retirement, he spent his professional life in the restaurant business. He was an active member of the Lake Worth Democratic Club, the Poinciana Condominium Community and a passionate tennis player. .
Survivors include his wife, Rhoda Burch of Lantana, daughters, Marcia Burch of Brooklyn, NY and Ellen Burch of Washington, D.C.; and granddaughters, Deborah and Caroline Greig. He was preceded in death by one brother, Jack.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 PM, Friday, October 4, 2013 at the Palm Beach National Chapel, 10055 Heritage Farms Road, Lake Worth, FL. Friends are invited to meet with the family from 12-12:30 PM. Friday, prior to services. Interment will follow in the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL with Full Military Honors by the US Army.
