Shelley J. Maurer, 87, passed away peacefully at home on October 5th. She was born in Edgarton, West Virginia on October 10, 1936. She met her spouse, Roger Maurer in Columbus, Ohio. Shelley and Roger went on to have 2 children, Bradley and Beth. Shelley was a loving and fun Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

Shelley and Roger retired to Boca Raton, Florida in 1998, after living in Dayton, Ohio for 25 years. She became an active parishioner at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Boca Raton.

Shelley was preceded in death by her loving husband Roger Maurer, mother Emma White, and son Bradley Maurer. She is survived by her daughter Beth Griswold (Joe) of Fort Mill, South Carolina; 3 grandchildren, Jessica (Adam Forrer), Jacob, Brendan, and 1 Great Granddaughter, Elsie Kate.

Services will be held at Saint John the Evangelist, 10300 Yamato Road, Boca Raton, FL 33498 on October 29th, 2024, at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital (https://www.stjude.org), an organization Shelley supported and felt strongly about.
