Sandra Wald's Obituary
Sandra Lee Wald, 87, of Delray Beach, Florida passed away in the early morning of October 23, 2018. She is survived by her daughters Bonnie (Michael Jawer) Wald and Lori (Chris) Buls as well as by her grandchildren Mackenzie Buls, Gabrielle Jawer, Ethan Buls, and Bradley Jawer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Dr. Arnold Wald, her sister Eleanor Ballenberg, and her granddaughter Kelsey Taylor Buls.
She was born October 20, 1931 in New York City. After growing up in Queens and graduating from high school and secretarial school there, she married Arnold Wald, DDS and raised her family in Brooklyn and then North Woodmere NY. She worked as a bookkeeper and benefits coordinator. She also took joy in raising her two daughters.
Sandra was known for her passion, her devotion to her family, as well as her joy in her friendships and hobbies such as canasta, travel, reading, and Netflix viewing.
A memorial service will be held on October 24 at noon at Palm Beach National Chapel in Lake Worth, Florida.
