Ronald L. Ericson, a longtime resident of Delray Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on July 23, 2023, at the age of 90 at Bethesda Hospital East.

Ronald was born September 24, 1932, in Glastonbury, CT to Edward E. and Johanna Ericson. Ronald served in the Army Branch of the military. He proceeded to graduate from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering and went on to pursue a lifelong career in Safety Engineering, before retiring to Delray Beach, Florida. Ronald dedicated years of voluntary service to his community as a licensed Emergency Ham Radio Operator and received a Presidential Award for his services. He enjoyed sports, travel, and spending quality time with family and close friends.

Ronald was preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl Palmer; parents, Edward E. and Johanna Ericson; and brothers, Edward Ericson and Norman Ericson.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Helen Ericson; daughter, Cindy Ericson of Delray Beach, Florida; son, Ronald E. Ericson of Delray Beach, Florida; sister, Jeanette Kagen of Brooksville, Florida; grandson, Kevin Palmer of Holland, MA; granddaughter, Kelly Gruber of Orange, CT; and two beautiful great grandchildren and one on the way.
