Obituary
It is with great sadness that our dad Ronnie passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He was a wonderful and devoted dad, father in law, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed very much. We thank everyone who has reached out to us and we really appreciate all your love and support.
Survived by his loving children, family and friends, Stacy (Santos) Torres, Dina (Marc) Carbone and Andrew Diskin; his pride and joy grandchildren, Anthony and Matthew Torres and Rachel and Vincent Carbone; his loving sister, Mona Kimmelman; his older brother, Joseph Diskin; many loving nieces, nephews; grand-dog, Mercedes, many family members and dear, dear friends most of all the best of 56 plus years Eddie and Nora Figueroa.
Ronnie was born in Bronx, NY, a proud veteran of the United States Army and served our country during the Vietnam War. He retired from retail sales in ladies and mens apparel after 50 years. He had a passion for the game of boxing, he enjoyed playing cards, traveling, taking cruises, laying by the pool and making people happy with humor and kindness. He loved spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He would do anything for anyone and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
