Richard Schott, 86, of Lake Worth passed away on June 22 nd , 2021 in Lake Worth, FL.

Richard Schott was born in Zweibrücken, Germany, to Richard and Erna Schott on

January 9 th , 1935

He worked as a master mechanic and construction supervisor for A. J. Ellis Construction Co. in

Maryland for over 25 years and served in the Army.  He was involved in Scouting and enjoyed

football and gardening. He received military honors and honorary membership in Alpha

Signa Pi Fraternity at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. for his work with Boy Scout

Troop 26.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Richard Schott is survived in death by his wife Birthe Schott, son Richard Christian Schott and

Grandchildren,  Richard Christian Schott, Jr. and Anna Maria Schott.

A funeral will be held at Palm Beach Natonal Chapel on July 8 th , 2021. He will be laid to rest

at South Florida National Cemetery.  Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to The
