Rchard was born and raised in Baltimore (Pronounced Bawlmer)
With typical Richard sense of humor he enlisted in the Marine Corp on April Fool's Day 1968. After basic training at the vacation mecca known as Parris Island, he served in Cherry Point, NC where he met his lifelong friends: Gary Fritz, Rich Kirby and Denis Hughes.
His 1st marriage produced his loving son Paul Bayne who later brought into his life his daughter Khwun, A.K.A. Kate Bayne.
Richard met his wife Alice while he was working for Alice's parents Ralph and Jeanie Sobel. There, Richard & Alice's, not Ralph & Jeanie's, first kiss sealed the deal and they were maried in January 1986. Moving to Florida in 1987, Richard and Alice built an enduring business and developed amazing friendships like: Pat & Steve Brown, Mac Beauchesne & Jeanie Cole, Martina & Lothar Endro, Bill & Elaine Cittadino and so many others.
The last few years were hard. His health declined and he was in and out of hospitals and doctors a lot. But he always had time for sports talk especially the Baltimore Ravens. Thank goodness the Ravens won the last SuperBowl. Richard's last dane was to Queen's "We are the Champions".
The Family would like to thank the VA and execially Hospice for the amazing care they gave him. We would also like to thank everyone who loved him and took the time to visit him these last few weeks.
In honor of Richard WE CELEBRATE TODAY AND WORRY ABOUT THE REST TOMORROW!!!!!

A Funeral Service will be held at 12 Noon, Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at the Palm Beach National Chapel, 10055 Heritage Farms Road, Lake Worth, FL 33449. Interment will follow at the South Florida Veterans Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL with Full Military Honors by the US Marine Corps.
