Ralph Ray Easley, 69, born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on February 6, 1942, made his transition into the Presence of the Lord on Tuesday, August 2, 2011. Ralph is survived by his wife Dorothy, his son Ralph A. DeLaFe, grandson Logan DeLaFe, brother Gerald W. Easley, sister Lucille E. Seigel, father Ralph Reather Easley, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

When Ralph was 8-years-old, his family moved to Florida. He and his wife grew up in the same neighborhood in Hialeah. Ralph served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1964 to 1970. He was a Vietnam combat veteran of Company D, 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment. Among other honors, he was awarded the Purple Heart and the Navy Commendation Medal. In 1972, Ralph began a career as a firefighter-paramedic. He served 28 years in Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, retiring in 1999 as a Battalion Chief. Ralph was an ordained minister.
