On Tuesday, February 21, 2023, Paul Schaefer, 96, most recently of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away peacefully.

Beloved husband of Shirley Wells Schaefer (deceased February 2016) for 65 years. Devoted father of Paula S. Wise, Mark Schaefer, Andrea S. Brown and Eve S. Van Buren. Loving grandfather to Zachary Wise, Nicholas Wise (deceased June 2019), Courtney Wise, Dana Schaefer, Eric Schaefer (deceased September 2004), Kai Schaefer, Max Van Buren and Ella Van Buren whom he adored beyond measure.

Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, son of Louis C. and Marie L. Schaefer. He graduated from Western Maryland College and worked as a personnel director for the Federal Government for 25 years. After retirement, he ran his own consulting firm for 15 years while living between Maryland and Florida.
