Mr. Paul Salopek, 83, Boynton Beach passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Bethesda Memorial Hopital following a brief illlness. Mr. Salopek was born April 8, 1929 in Masontown, Pennsylvania to the late Pete & Mary (Zlock) Salopek and moved to the Boynton Beach area in 2004 from Ohio. He was a retired meat cutter and a proud United States Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Salopek is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Melva (Glumsic) Salopek; sons, Paul (Toni) Salopek of Boynton Beach; Tim (Pam) Salopek of Lake Worth and Mark (Susan) Salopek of Atlanta, Georgia; daughter, Diane Czechowski of Boynton Beach; brother, George Salopek of Mentor, Ohio; sister, Rose Bolas of Mentor, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Francine Salopek of Ft. Lauderdale; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services for Mr. Salopek will be held 11:15 AM Thursday, April 12, 2012 (Lane 1) at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, with military honors.
