IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patrick E.
Wolf
March 18, 1936 – July 10, 2023
Patrick Edward Wolf, 87, of Boynton Beach, Florida entered into eternal rest on Monday July 10, 2023. Pat leaves behind his loving wife Diana (nee Ashcraft) and two wonderful sons, Greg Levi (Sandy) and David Wolf; four grandchildren; Alex (Meghan), Zach (Clare), Danielle (Jake), and Kelly, and two great grandchildren Grace and Caden Patrick. He also had two stepdaughters from Diana, Heather Yardley (Jonathan) and Monica Thurmond (Will). Pat is preceded in death by his first wife Susan and sister Kathleen.
Pat was born the 18th of March 1936, to loving parents in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Pat attended Richmond High School and joined the Army soon after school where he was headquartered in Sam Houston TX and was part of the 97th MRU. Pat received a Good Conduct Medal which would surprise no one given Pat's caring and giving nature. Pat retired from Reid Memorial Hospital as their Director of IT Services after a long career. His passion for the hospital lead his entire family to either work or volunteer at the hospital. Pat had interest in computer science and that directed back to Richmond and the hospital after working and commuting to Dayton, Ohio at NCR. No matter the commute he never missed his son's activities. Pat was his kid's baseball coach, often dropping everything to manage the kid's baseball, basketball and about anything else that kept him close to his kids. He was an above average softball player and an amature golfer. Before moving to Florida, Pat was active with First English Lutheran Church.
After retirement, Pat and Diana moved to South Florida to live their retirement dreams. He enriched his life with love of his wife and chasing a ball around the course. Always athletic, he played the game with the same approach to life – try as hard as you can and enjoy the ride.
In Lieu of Flowers, please make a donation to Pat's favorite charity the Salvation Army in his name or the charity of your choice.
