Patricia D. McGlynn, 80, of Lantana, passed away Friday, May 18, 2018. Born on August 11, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA, Patricia was the daughter of the late Matthew and Anna Herion. Patricia graduated Bonaventure Catholic Business School in Philadelphia at the age of 16. After graduation, Patricia married and moved to Japan. While in Japan, Patricia was an assistant to a Colonel on an Air Force base. Patricia and her husband went on to have three children, Frankie, Sue, Katie. The family resided in Lantana, Fl. She enjoyed her time with her children , and she was a stay at home mom until all the kids graduated high school. In 1985 Patricia purchased and managed her own business. She enjoyed being an entrepreneur and worked very hard. Patricia looked forward to spending her summers in Wildwood, NJ with family and friends. In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Kampsen, her brother, Matty Herion, her sister , Marianne Dwyer and her son, Frankie McGlynn. Patricia is survived by her daughter , Sue Martter (Jay Martter), her daughter, Katie Albee, grandchildren Jennifer Peper (Mike Peper), Erin McGlynn, Ross McGlynn, Jake Albee, and Colin Albee, great-grandchildren Hayley, Sadie, Taj, Savannah, and Mason and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at Palm Beach National Chapel (10055 Heritage Farms Road, Lake Worth, 33449) on Friday, June 8,2018 at 12:30PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Patricia's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital ( stjude.org)
