Mr. Norman "Normey" Hoppe, 86, Greenacres, Florida died Sunday, May 6, 2012 at JFK Medical Center following a brief illness. Mr. Hoppe was born June 30, 1925 in Elmira, New York and moved to the Greenacres area in 1998 from Elmira, New York. He was a proud United States Navy veteran serving in World War II. Mr. Hoppe is survived by his loving children, David Hoppe of Endicott, New York; Debra (Perry) Allen of Greenacres; Susan Hoppe of Greenacres; Sharon (Jamie) Whalen of Lantana and Jessica (Lawrence) Stacconi of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, Corey Wellen of Wellington and Ashley Booth.

Graveside Services for Mr. Hoppe will be held 9:00 am Friday, May 11, 2012 at South Florida National Cemetery (Lane 1) with military honors.
