Norman Chenenko 91, of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed on June 9, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Doris, children Steven (Gretchen), Ricky (Patricia), Joni Winnick (Maurice), grandchildren Nathan (Brittany), Jason, Emily, and Dylan, and great-grandchild Brenner. He is preceded in death by his sisters Sandra and Elaine.

Norman was born on June 3, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York to his parents Jean and Murray Chenenko. He graduated from James Madison High School in 1950 and entered the army in 1952. He married Doris in 1953 and was deployed to Germany in the Signal Corps shortly after.  Doris joined him in Germany where they lived for 9 months.  After leaving the army in 1954 Doris and Norman raised their three children primarily in Oceanside New York. Norman worked in the textiles industry selling yarn and other products to knitting mills, primarily on the east coast, but later expanding as far as the west coast. He continued work in this capacity after moving to Florida and until the end of his life, with Joni's help in later years.

Norman will be remembered as an outgoing, engaging and athletic person who made friends everywhere he went. He especially enjoyed tennis and golf.  He enjoyed people and life to the fullest, and if there was an opportunity to help someone in some way Norman was always there to do so. He touched so many lives in this way.
