Obituary

Norman H. Brabson, 92, passed away on Friday, July 17th, 2020 after a long fight with heart disease. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio graduating from Woodward High School, Salmon P. Chase College and served in the United States Army during World War II. He also spent time as a youngster in coal mining towns in Kentucky. Norman moved with his family to Detroit, Michigan in the early 1950's and settled in, spending 30 years at Fisher Body as a project engineer. He was an avid Bridge player and loved to travel, and enjoyed volunteering for Gardian Ad Litem. Norman is survived by his daughters Judy (Paul) Laube of Spring Hill, Florida, Cynthia (Craig) of Shelby Township, Michigan. He is also survived by his grandchildren Casey (Erin), Chelsea (Jimmy) George, Clark (Stephanie), a sister, Sue Bodemer of Polk City, Florida, and special friends, Carol Mason and Judy O'Donnell. Predeceased by his parents, Charles and Bertha Brabson, a sister, and two brothers-in-law. Arrangements are being made by Palm Beach National Chapel. Memorial will be held at a later date.
