Miller
June 16, 1936 – October 20, 2022
Norene "Sarge" (Romer) Miller, 86, of Jupiter, FL, passed away on 10/20/2022.

Michael Miller, Wallkill, NY
Dana Miller, of Jupiter, FL
Matthew Miller of Jupiter, FL

She was born to parents Helen Michalowski Romer and Arthur Romer, on 06/16/1936 in Middletown, NY.
She graduated from Middletown High School in 1954. Weeks prior to graduation, on her 18th birthday, she enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Stationed at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego she rose to the rank of Sargeant.
She then attended Orange County Community College, graduated with AAS in Nursing, and became a Licensed Registered Nurse.
Norene married Edward H Miller and raised 4 children.
Her career spanned over 30 years beginning at Horton Memorial Hospital. She retired from the NY State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) in 2001.
Throughout her life, she enjoyed many great adventures including "walking on fire", helicopter sightseeing, and weekends in NY catching Broadway Musicals. Her love of music spanned many genres including Eminem, Pitbull (front row), Queen, Twisted Sister, Cher and Lady Gaga. She was able to see almost every performer she loved.
She always found time for her friends and children. Many extended connections will remember her annual Christmas Eve party fondly.
In her younger years, she was a Cub Scout den mother, and a 4-H leader.
She will be greatly missed by friends and family.
A military memorial will be held on November 10, 2022, at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL at 12:30 PM.
We believe she would have loved this date as it is the Marine Corps birthday.
