Nicholas DeLuca, 92, of Delray Beach, Florida, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 1, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Connie, as well as his three children: Maryann Dzibela (and husband Dave), Michael De Luca and Debra DeLuca. Nicholas has 6 grandchildren: Joseph, Karen, David, Michael, Samantha and Bryan and has 14 great-grandchildren.

Nicholas was born in Newark, NJ to parents William and Eleanor. He also had a step father, Samuel Haber. He lived in Newark before moving to Edison, NJ to raise his family. He also lived in Bayville, NJ, where his favorite hobby was crabbing on the Barnegat Bay.

When Nicholas retired from his job at Port Newark/Elizabeth he decided to retire to sunny Florida where he enjoyed playing golf, going to the beach, and cruising. He was a fantastic cook and especially enjoyed making Italian food. He loved watching football and his favorite team was the Miami Dolphins.

Nicholas was a proud Marine and served in active duty in the Korean War from 1951-1953. When he returned home he married his high school sweetheart, Connie.

Nicholas is predeceased by his siblings: Eleanor DeLuca-Heath, William DeLuca, and David Haber.
