IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nicholas
Acquaviva
March 12, 1932 – December 14, 2025
Nicholas Acquaviva, a longtime resident of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025, at the age of 93, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on March 12, 1932, in the Bronx, New York, Nicholas lived a life defined by devotion—to his country, his craft, and above all, his family. He proudly served his nation as a Korean War veteran, an experience that shaped his strong sense of duty, resilience, and integrity.
Nicholas was a skilled and lifelong upholsterer, known for his exceptional workmanship, attention to detail, and pride in his trade. After many years in Mamaroneck, New York, he relocated with his family to Margate, Florida in 1975, where he continued to build a life rooted in hard work and family values.
He was a devoted and loving husband to Antoinette "Toni" Acquaviva, with whom he shared 70 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a family filled with love, laughter, and enduring bonds. Nicholas was a beloved father to his three daughters: Debbie (Steve Gillis), Maria, and Annette (Chris Norris). His greatest joy came from time spent with his family, especially his cherished grandson, Stephen (Heidi Gillis), and his adored great-grandson, Nicholas.
Nicholas is also fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law and a large extended family of nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss his warmth, wisdom, and gentle presence.
A man of quiet strength, unwavering dedication, and deep love for his family, Nicholas Acquaviva leaves behind a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
