He was loved dearly by his family and his friends. He is survived by his wife; Lucy Sherman; his two daughters - Aliza Sherman Risdahl and Leah Sherman; his sister Phyllis Heller; cousins, son-in-laws, nieces and nephews, his granddaughter Noa Grace; and his family in California, New York and all places in between and beyond.
