Michael Vincent Pascarelli, a man whose life was as rich and vivid as the streets of Manhattan where he was born, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026, in Wellington, Florida. Born on September 23, 1943, Michael embodied the essence of a devoted family man, a warm humorist, and a proud New York Italian whose spirit resonated with grit and kindness.
From his earliest days in Manhattan, Michael was woven into the tapestry of a vibrant community where family meant everything. He served his country honorably in the United States Army, a testament to his steadfast character and unwavering dedication. Where he received the National Defence Service Medal and received the rating of expert in rifle and pistol operations. Beyond his military service, Michael loved sports—a lifelong passion that saw him engaging with spirited games of volleyball and the nostalgic joy of stickball, echoing the street games of his youth.
Michael was a very good family provider, a foundation for the generations who followed. His laughter, a hallmark of his personality, filled the lives of those around him, blending the typical robust humor of a New York Italian man with a heart of genuine kindness. His legacy is carried forward by his beloved wife, Elizabeth, whose partnership and love defined decades of shared life and joy.
He is survived by his children, Wendy Wagner and her husband Bruce; Lori Ciniglio and her husband Michael; Connie Gasparino; and Michael Pascarelli, all of whom carry forward the values and warmth that Michael instilled. Michael’s family extends to six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, each a vibrant thread in his expansive family fabric. His brothers, Frank and Gerald Pascarelli, remain part of this close-knit circle, sharing memories and honoring the life he led.
The family also mourns the loss of Frank Gasparino, son-in-law, whose absence marks a poignant element in their collective journey of remembrance.
A burial service to honor Michael’s life will be held on May 22, 2026, starting at 1:00 PM at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida. providing a sacred space for family and friends to celebrate a man who was, above all else, profoundly connected to those he loved.
