Obituary

Michael John Mancini 43 yrs. young, made his grand entrance to the world on March 3, 1972 and was tragically taken from his loved ones here on earth and delivered to heaven May10, 2015 after a motorcycle accident in Florida where he resided. Born to his Father, Michael Mancini and Mother Sandi (Mancini) Fontana, Michael was born in Zurbrugg Memorial Hospital in Riverside NJ and was a graduate of Cherry Hill East High School.
As a very young boy after being bullied in school, Mike took to the gym. First just to build up, then it became his lifes greatest passion. Michael was a serious contender. He was extremely accomplished in Kickboxing and mixed martial arts. His first trainer was the world famous Stephen Shepard. Later, he too became a dedicated personal trainer and did so until his too soon departure.
Because of his rugged yet sensitive good looks, he also had a career in modeling being featured in many ad and runways, including many spots in Mens Health Magazine. The camera loved him almost as much as his family and friends did! Michael was also a nutritionist and had a real estate license in NY.
Michael had a smile that you would just wait for. He was just as shy as he was bold. He was a doggedly loyal friend who chose his friends wisely, but cross him and the wrath was one to run from. He was a fighter and a lover, a teacher and a student of life, a little boy and an old soul. This intimidatingly built man could frighten another human, yet all Gods creatures were drawn to him. His immense love of nature made him a friend to all animals, dogs, cats, birds, horses, and ah yes, even the baby racoons would come out of the woods to visit with this Hercules.
His hobbies through the years were music, photography, skateboarding, cycling, snowboarding, horseback riding, dancing, hanging with friends motorcycling, and of course mixed martial arts.
Brokenheartedly, left behind to cherish his memory are his Mother Sandi Fontana, his Father, Michael Mancini. Grandmother, Virginia Fontana, and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and the many friends he made throughout the world he traveled. Predeceased are his Grandparents Phillip Mancini Sr, Mary Mancini, and John Fontana.
As Kahlil Gibran wrote, "And when the earth shall take your limbs, then, you shall truly dance." Dance, Michael, Dance!

A funeral is scheduled for 7:00pm on May 19th, 2015 at Palm Beach National Chapel 10055 Heritage Farms Road, Lake Worth FL, 33449, with a reception to follow. Father Rick Riccardi will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Michael's life.
