Melinda Dean
Endress
Aug 15, 1962 — Jun 17, 2026
Melinda “Mendy” Dean (Hoad) Endres
August 15, 1962 – June 17, 2026
Melinda “Mendy” Dean (Hoad) Endres, 63, passed away peacefully in her home on June 17, 2026. Born on August 15, 1962, in Victoria, Texas. Melinda lived a life centered on faith, family, love, and devotion to those she cherished most.
Melinda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Betty Jean Hoad and Robert Dean Hoad. She is now reunited with them in eternal peace.
She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Patrick Endres, her 3 children Josh, Chad and Chelsea and her 10 grandchildren.
Pat and Mendy met in 1981, fell in love, and were married five years later on April 25, 1986, in Lake Tahoe. They began their marriage and family in Corpus Christi, Texas but eventually moved the family to Wellington, Florida where they continued to raise their family. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering commitment.
Melinda was a devoted mother to her three children: Joshua Endres and his wife April Endres; Chad Endres and his wife Ashley Endres; and Chelsea Paino and her husband Kyle Paino.
She was a proud and loving Gram-E to her ten grandchildren: Talen, James, Killian, Orion, Atlas, Elodie, Emery, Ryder, Nixon, and Remington. Her grandchildren were among her greatest joys, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Melinda was a woman of deep faith whose love for God guided her throughout her life. She found strength, comfort, and purpose in her relationship with the Lord and shared that faith through her kindness, compassion, and care for others. Her legacy of love, faith, and family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Though she is gone way too soon and will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing that she is now with her Savior and reunited with those who went before her.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
The family asks that Melinda be remembered not for the way her life ended, but for the way she lived—with grace, faith, love, and a heart devoted to her family and to God. Her memory will be cherished forever.
