Max E Oakley, 70 of Lake Worth, FL. Died peacefully November 7, 2015 at the VA medical Center in Miami, FL. Mr. Oakley was born in Mattoon, IL. He was a resident of Lake Worth for 18 years. He also served in the U.S Army during the Vietnam Era. Surviving family consist of his wife Herele Oakley of 26 years, his daughter Kari Oakley (Mattoon, IL), his son Brett Oakley (Lake Worth), his sisters Daisy Roberts (St. Louis, MO) and Margene Cartwright (Toledo, IL), and his brother in-law Kenny Kilman(Mattoon, IL)
A graveside service with military honors will be held at South Florida National Cemetery Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 2:15p.
