Mary Alice King, 91, of Boca Raton passed away peacefully into the Kingdom of God on September 22, 2026. Born in Ireland, she traveled on the Queen Elizabeth as a young woman, on a voyage to the United States to seek a better life. She met her beloved husband David Henry King, also immigrating for a better life. They were happily married for over six decades. She was known for her strong work ethic and loved music and dancing. She became an accomplished Irish dancer, continuing to dance into her eighties. Her Irish heritage remained an important part of who she was, and she carried it with great pride. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her memory will live in the lives of all who knew her. She is survived by her three children, Catherine, John, and Michael, and her 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation with family on October 5, 2026, from 6:00 – 7:00 PM. at Palm Beach National Funeral Home & Chapel, 10055 Heritage Farms Rd, Lake Worth Beach, Florida 33449. A Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated October 6, 2026 at 11:00 at Ascension Catholic Church 7250 N Federal Hwy Boca Raton, FL 33487 followed by interment at South Florida National Cemetery 6501 FL-7, Lake Worth, Florida 33449.
