Martin Elliot Colp was born November 4, 1942, in the Bronx borough in New York City. He passed at the age of 77 on June 25, 2020 at the Veteran"s Administration Hospital in Miami, FL. He was a resident of Sebastian, FL at the time of death.
Mojo (nickname) was the elder son to the late Michael and Helen Colp. He is survived by his brother Joseph (Christine) and from his first marriage (Diane Colp) their three sons - Allen, Philip (Candy), Todd (Raquel) as well as six grandchildren - Preston, Jonah, Harper Jack, Ryder, Cooper, and Riley.
Mojo was a proud veteran of the United States Army while serving his country that entailed a post on the Korean Demilitarized Zone. By trade, he was an entrepreneur as a traveling salesman (garment industry) in his early career and then in the transportation service industry. He resided on both US coasts (California and Florida) through these endeavors. In his retired life, he worked at the Sebastian Medical Center.
His passions along the way included raising his many dogs/wolves, riding horses, Harley Davidsons, Jeeps, and Country music.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be gladly accepted on behalf of his name via the American Heart Association to further their studies on heart disease.
