Mario L. Taccariello passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on June 20, 2022, in Delray Beach, FL, at the age of 90.

Mario was born on December 10, 1931, in Manhattan, NY to Salvatore and Theresa Taccariello and was sibling to predeceased brothers Tony, Billy, Angelo, Benny and Italo.

Mario is survived by his wife Lucille of 54 years and his children Theresa, Patricia, Debra, Mario, his late daughter Julieann, Gerald and Brenda, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of his life, and many nieces and nephews.

He served honorably in the Korean war, then served the city of Mt. Vernon, NY as a Firefighter for 28 years and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus.

Mario was blessed to have lifelong friends in the Casucci and Blasetti families and will be missed dearly.

Funeral Services will be held on July 22, 2022 at the Palm Beach National Chapel at 9:30AM, followed by the South Florida National Cemetery service at 11:00AM.
