Obituary

Marie (Lesinsky) DePalma, 91, of Boynton Beach, FL, the beloved wife of Ralph M. DePalma for 71 years, entered into eternal rest on January 26, 2026.

Marie was born on July 28, 1934, in Bridgeport, CT, daughter of the late Irene Maturo and Ed Maturo. Marie was a loving sister, wife, and mother. She was a young bride and mother who matured into the consummate corporate wife. She was instrumental in the success of her husband's career which involved several moves across the northeast and midwest. She raised four strong, independent females while modeling, fairness, integrity, honesty, and strength. She was a fantastic cook, and enjoyed preparing homemade holiday meals for her family and friends well into her eighties.

She retired to South Florida with her husband and spent the last couple of decades enjoying new friendships, entertaining, playing cards, traveling, expanding her wardrobe with trips to Chico's, trips to the same stylist for over 20 years to touch-up that infamous pink strip in her
otherwise white hair, and visiting family and friends back north, and the many visits from her children and grandchildren.

Marie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph M. DePalma, 94, who passed away on September 2, 2025. She is survived by her four daughters, Karen Wutke of Boynton Beach, FL, Joyce Blank of Hypoluxo, FL, Lynne Cerniglia and her husband, Anthony Cerniglia of Johns Creek, GA, and Laura De Palma and her husband, Mike Bindra of Ibiza, Spain; grandchildren, Eric Wutke of Novi, MI, Mathew Wutke of Shelton, CT, Sarah Blank and her husband Anthony Barbera III of Woodstock, GA, Tyler Blank of Boca Raton, FL, Kristen Cerniglia of Exeter, CA, Shelby Cerniglia of Atlanta, GA, Savannah Cerniglia of Atlanta, GA, and four great-grand children, Adriana Wutke, Bella Wutke, Olivia Barbera, and Everly Barbera.

She also leaves behind her brother Ed Maturo, and his wife Betty of Hendersonville, NC, and numerous nieces, and nephews.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. A funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 noon on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Palm Beach National Chapel, 10055 Heritage Farm Road, Lake Worth, FL. She will be laid to rest at the South Florida National Cemetery in Wellington, FL along side her beloved.

The family would like to thank the hospice staff at Trustbridge Care Center in Boca Raton for the compassionate care they provided Marie in her final days.
