Obituary

Marguerite was born in Louisville, KY on May 20, 1921. Her family of 2 younger brothers and herself relocated to Mamaroneck NY where she graduated from Mamaroneck Senior High School and began her career in retail with Best and CO.

After the war, she met a handsome Marine and fell in love. Michael J Forte and Marguerite were married for 63 years. Marguerite has two children. Michele and Michael who were her pride and joy. She was the Class mother and the PTA President throughout their school years and when they were on their own she opened The Yarn Cupboard. Her hobbies were knitting, crocheting and sewing. Therefore, it made perfect sense to open a business where she could enjoy her hobbies and teach others.

In 1980, Michael decided it was time to move to Florida and enjoy their Golden Years. Boynton Beach Florida was their final destination. Marguerite began playing Bridge, Bingo and many other card games. She loved the challenge and her friends. She was also an avid reader. She would read at least 4 books a week.

Children and grand children and great grandchildren were her reason for staying on this earth for so many years. Marguerite lost one of her brothers in December and the other in February.
