Margaret Simon's Obituary
Margaret Simon, born July 5th, 1946, passed away on January 28th 2018, at the age of 71 years.
Margaret, daughter of the late James and Grace Sanford of Gastonia, NC moved to Florida in 1974 upon marrying Vaughn Simon. Once in Florida Margaret obtained a degree in Dental Laboratory Technology and worked in the field until retirement. In her free time Margaret enjoyed travel and could often be found on a cruise ship, or snuggled up with one of her Grandkids on the west coast.
She is survived by Vaughn, her Husband of 43 years; twin sister Martha Smith-Heinz; daughter Karla Pavkovic (Alan); and grandchildren Aleksandar and Katarina.
A celebration of Margaret's life will be held on Tuesday, February 20 at 10:15, officiated by Philip Karnes; Pilot, Missionary Flights International. Please utilize lane 1 at South Florida National Cemetery (6501 S. State Road 7 Lake Worth, FL 33449).
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to National Jewish Medical Center or to the Ministry of Philip and Charity Karnes at Missionary Flights International (Account number 2808.)
