Margaret Justine Halsey Gaff passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Palm Beach Nursing Center, Lake Worth, Florida.
Mrs. Gaff was born in Wolcottville, Indiana on January 26, 1933, to John Claude and Lula Mae Gevedon Halsey. Her early years were spent in the Kimmell, Indiana community and graduated from Albion High School in 1951. She was united in marriage on December 27, 1951, to Norbert W. Gaff.
She attended Big Lake Church of God since the age of 13 and served as the church organist for over 25 years. She played for many local weddings during her time as organist.
Surviving relatives are her husband, Norbert, of over 72 years. Her sons, Randal and daughter-in-law Beth, Ronald and daughter-in-law Cynthia, and daughter Vicki Gerrish.
Also, eight grandchildren, Justin (Pamela) Gaff, Bryce (Trudy) Gaff, Richard (Danni) Gaff, Lauren Gaff (Mark) Ledbetter, Ashley (Robert) Williams, Jenaca Wolfe, Nolan (Kayti) Gerrish and Lindsay (Daniel) Mauriello.
Fifteen great-grandchildren, Abbigal, Mason and Allison Sunday, Aleena Gaff, Adrianna and Anthony Ledbetter, Syennia and Riley Gaff, Alexander, Maximus and Abraham Gaff, Dominic Mauriello, Kadence and Remington Gaff and Jackson Gerrish.
Preceding her in death were three sisters, Stella Halsey, Dora Lawson and Patricia Macy and eight brothers, William Fred Halsey, Raleigh Halsey, Kelly Halsey, Elbert Halsey, Warren Halsey, Delver Halsey, Marion Halsey, Denny Halsey.
Funeral arrangements are Monday, July 22, 2024, at the Palm Beach National Chapel, 10055 Heritage Farms Road, Lake Worth Beach, FL 33449. Visitation is 11:00 am – 12:30 pm. The service begins at 12:30 pm and burial follows at the South Florida National Cemetery at 2:00 pm. Officiating is Evan Imel, Pastor of the Church of the Palms.
