Madeline Bernadette (Galasso) Smith of Boynton Beach (formerly of Oyster Bay & Huntington, NY) passed away on May 7, 2021. Wife of Richard K. Smith, mother of John, Christopher, and Stephanie, stepmother of Kimberly and Kristen, and grandmother of Riannon, Alexa, Arron, Ariana, Aedan, and "adopted grandma" of Jessica, Lucas, Carlin, and countless others.

Madeline lived to be a mother and grandmother to anyone and everyone who walked in her front door. She was a volunteer member of the Huntington Community First Aid Squad for over 15 years and obtained her EMT Certification, which she considered a great accomplishment. She was very proud of her time on the squad and never tired of reminiscing about it.

In 1998 she moved to Boynton Beach, FL to be a full-time caretaker to her first grandchild. Since then, she has been a mother and grandmother (Gonga) figure to so many. She devoted her life to her family, children, and grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed and always remembered.
