Lucene Gertrude Hennick, passed away Thurs, January 19, 2012, surrounded by her family and friends. Lucene was born in Wilkes Barre, PA on November 19, 1931 and grew up in Seekonk, MA. She graduated from East Senior High School in Pawtucket, RI and married her late husband Tom, of 55 years, in Oahu, HI. Together they moved their family to Florida in 1971. She worked for many years at Sally's Sportswear, where she fitted prosthetics for cancer patients. Lucene enjoyed bridge, traveling ,classic movies and spending time with family and friends. Life member of Preceptor Zeta Mu since 1979. She was a wonderful and loving mother to her three sons; William, Thomas (Catherine) and Lee (Lori) Hennick. Proud and loving grandmother of Tera and Brandon Hennick, all of Boynton Beach, FL. Also survived by her brother Lee (Ellie) Jones of Lake Worth, FL and many other loving relatives and friends. Predeceased by her sister Roberta Finnegan. Lucene will be deeply missed and will remain forever in our hearts.
