Leonard Stein, passed away on April 6, 2026, in West Palm Beach, Florida. Born on June 29, 1930, in New York City, Leonard’s journey was marked by a steadfast dedication to family and an unyielding spirit.
Graduating with a Bachelor's degree from City College in New York City, He served his country with honor in the United States Army, embodying a sense of duty and discipline that would accompany him through every chapter of his life. His personality was a compelling blend of stubborn resolve, biting sarcasm, and an easy-going nature—the quintessential no-BS type of guy whose heart was always devoted to those he loved most.
Leonard’s professional life was nothing short of legendary. a titan of the advertising world whose career spanned an impressive 37 years. Despite his professional accolades, Leonard’s proudest accomplishments were immeasurably more personal: his beloved family.
He shared a devoted, enduring and adventurous life with Pat Stein, his wife of 69 years. Together, they nurtured a family rich in love, friendship and laughter. Leonard is survived by his daughters, Debbie Waxler and her husband, Gary, Janet Weinstein and her husband Jeff, and his cherished grandchildren Shaina Weinstein and her husband Drew, as well as Leah Weinstein and James. These relationships were the true gems in Leonard’s life—a testament to the man who was always “about the family.”
Len found joy in crafting stained glass masterpieces and wielding a tennis racket with quiet enthusiasm. These hobbies were reflections of a man who appreciated both art and sport, creativity and a nice cold beer.
A celebration of Leonard’s life will be held on April 17, 2026, at the Palm Beach National Funeral Home & Chapel in Lake Worth Beach, Florida. The day's honors will begin with a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM. Friends and family will gather to remember a life lived with passion, humor, and unshakeable integrity.
Len Stein leaves a legacy of strength, love, and dedication that captured the essence of a life well-lived. Those who knew him remember a man who spoke his mind with an unwavering honesty, who stood stubbornly by what he believed, and who, above all, defined success by the love he gave and received from family. His spirit endures in the hearts of those who loved him.
