It is with great sadness that the family of Laurence Louis Bluerock (age 83), of Lake Worth, announce his passing on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at home. Known as Larry by all, he was a devoted husband to the late Marlene "Mickey" Bluerock who died in September of 2019.

Larry was the son of the late Phineas and Mina Bluerock. Survivors include his children: Scott Bluerock and Cheryl Harrison (George Harrison); step-children: Laurence Elgart (Katya Elgart), Andrew Elgart, and Leslie Balzer (Richard Balzer); 8 Grandchildren: Andrew and Rebecca Bluerock, Naia and Kinley LaHair,  Hannah and Shayna Elgart, and Rachel and Carly Balzer; sister Susan Bluerock; brother, Roy Bluerock; as well as 2 nieces and 4 nephews.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Larry spent most of his life in South Florida. He graduated with his MBA from the University of Miami. He was successful in insurance sales and financial advising, which allowed him to be a good provider and to be able to travel and explore the world. He loved being involved in his community and made numerous friendships through all his activities within it.

A private service will be held at Palm Beach National Chapel on March 18, 2021 followed by an Interment at South Florida National Cemetery. Due to Covid precautions, a Zoom service link will be provided for friends.
