Kimberly C. Kubik of Wellington passed away Wednesday, May 1st, 2014. She was 57 years old. Born in Mobile, Alabama on August 1st, 1956, she was the daughter of Clyde and Effie Mae Johnson. She moved to New Orleans and became a highly successful hairstylist/colorist. In 1978, she moved to South Florida and continued to practice her profession until she retired in 2008. Kimberly donated a lot of her time to helping others by working in food banks and visiting those who were confined and doing their hair. She touched many lives and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, George N. Kubik. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to: Mary Rubloff YMCA Harmony House (Women's Shelter).
