Joyce M. Peerson, 74, of Wellington, Fl, passed away on December 8, 2020.

Joyce was born in Missouri but lived most of her life in Palm Beach County (Belle Glade, Lantana, West Palm Beach and Wellington).

After serving twenty-three, plus years with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, she retired in 2011, as an Executive Secretary.

Joyce was always thankful for God's blessings. She was a loving, devoted and doting wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. She is survived by her daughter Linda "DeEdra" (Lynn, Vassalotti) Jackson (Tom); grandsons: Aaron Vassalotti (Angie), Chace (Brittney), Collin (Sijun) and Cameron Jackson; Great grandsons: Aiden and Elijah Vassalotti; great-grand daughter: Kacey; sister, Linda Hood Cardin (Joe); nieces: Pamela Cardin Buckman (Owen) and Krista Cardin Neilson (Geoff); great-nieces: Jordyn Buckman and Charlotte Neilson and great-nephew, Jake Buckman.

Joyce was predeceased by her beloved husband of 41 years, Don K. Peerson on September 19, 2019; Father, Edward T. Hood (1952); mother, Lillie Helen Hood-Watson (1989) and brother, Douglas E. Hood (1994).

At Joyce's request, there will be a graveside service only at South Florida National Cemetery in lane 5 (when you enter the cemetery, go to lane number 5) at 1:30 on December 22, 2020.
