John S. Witt, Sr. , 86, passed away on Jan 12th after a brief illness. He was born July 15, 1927. He graduated from Palm Beach High School in 1945. After serving in the military, he later graduated from FSU. John received his J.D. degree from Cumberland School of Law in 1966 and practiced law in WPB until he retired in 1990. He later moved to North Carolina.

As an avid sports enthusiast, John attended 20 Super Bowls and 20 World Series and enjoyed countless rounds of golf with his buddies, especially "The Barracudas". When there wasn't a game on that John was narrating, he was "anchoring" FOX News.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Linda; son, John (Selina) Witt Jr; grandson, Stephen and a host of family and dear friends. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of Palm Beach County. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan 18th at 10:30am at Palm Beach National Chapel, 10055 Heritage Farms Rd. Lake Worth 33449.
