Mr. John B. Morris, 85, Palm Beach, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at JFK Medical Center following a brief illness. Mr. Morris was born November 12, 1926 in New York, New York to the late Roland & Mary (Ansbury) Morris. Mr. Morris was a retired detective with the New York City Police Department and a proud United States Marine Corps veteran of World War II and recipent of the Purple Heart. Mr. Morris is survived by his loving wife Mary (Maxner) Morris; son, John (Gina) Morris; daughters, Carol Morris and Patricia Morris; grandson, Colby Morris and loving friend Sonia Lavore.

Funeral Services for Mr. Morris will be held 10:00 am Friday, May 11, 2012 in the Chapel of Palm Beach National Chapel. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday from 9:00 am until service time. Interment will follow at South Florida National Cemetery with military honors.
