John Cassidy
January 5, 1935 - March 21, 2014
John was born and raised in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He joined the Air Force at a young age and
served four years during the Korean War, honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant. After serving his
country, he attended Mount St. Mary's College in Maryland. He moved to Florida in the early 1960s and
worked at Cape Canaveral. After a few years, he finally settled in the Palm Beaches. He was a gifted
artist and painted commissioned art work for various clients. John married Lynn Cassidy November 21,
1990. While he continued to pursue his special artistic talent, he worked in retail construction supplies
for many years.
John was a sensitive, good man of strong character. His strong love of the Lord permeated his entire
life. He is survived by his wife, Lynn; sisters Joan Stofanak, Ellen Charlton (Mike), Mary Rummel (Reed)
and brother, Thomas Cassidy, Jr.
