IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James V.
Ryan
April 2, 1940 – June 25, 2024
James ("Jim") V. Ryan II, a proud Irish son and devoted Christian, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on April 2, 1940, Jim's life was a testament to love, faith, and family.
Jim was a loving and devoted husband to his beloved wife, June Ryan. Their nearly 50-year marriage was a beautiful journey filled with cherished memories and unwavering devotion. Together, they created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and love.
A graduate of Lake Worth High School, Jim was an active member of the swim team, showcasing his dedication and athleticism. His love for sports extended into his later years, where he enjoyed many vacations and golfing trips with June, particularly at Big Canoe in Georgia. Their shared love for road trips led them to frequent summer and fall trips to the Smoky Mountains.
Jim was predeceased by his infant son, James Ryan III; his parents, James Ryan I and Jeanne Ryan; and his brothers, Rick and John ("Jay") Ryan. Despite these profound losses, Jim's spirit remained resilient and filled with love.
He is survived by his stepdaughters, Marcia and Tami. Jim also leaves behind four grandchildren, Traci, Waylon, Devona, and Jessica, and five great-grandchildren, Hailey, Shaelyn, Adelyn, Zayne, and Cameron, all of whom brought immense joy and pride into his life.
June mourns the loss of her dear Jim, the miracle of love in her life, but she takes solace in the knowledge that he is now in the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jim's legacy of love, faith, and strength will continue to inspire all who knew him.
In leiu of flowers the family suggest donations to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
