Ileana Thompson, fondly called "Bean" by some of her family members (short for her maiden name Urbina) passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014 at 11:44 a.m. after a final reoccurrence of cancer. She was 69 yrs. old and had overcame cancer twice before. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 33 yrs., Robert Thompson.

She was a caring, loving, and doting wife, "mother", grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She leaves behind a large family in Costa Rica where she was born. She had 7 brothers and sisters, many close nieces and nephews, 2 step-daughters, and their families.

Ileana worked many years in a secretarial capacity. She also worked as a flight attendant in her younger years. She liked to spend time with family and recently returned from a 3 week visit to Costa Rica with her extended family. It was a joyous time for all.

Ileana also enjoyed walking, and attending and serving at Unity Church where she had many friendships.

She will be greatly missed and always loved.
