Helen Rachel Tappan Newton Lobdell February 5, 1941 to September 25, 2016 through Eternity.

A wonderful soul left our physical presence early Sunday morning. Rachel was enthralled with the beauty of nature-telling all who would listen of the sanctity of God's Good Earth. She taught us to read music and play the piano, to enjoy the ballet and most of all to live life. She was a caring and a humble woman, eternally kind, lighting up our days with a warm embracing smile and those sparkling blue eyes, who finally found God's peace and treasures. We are all secure in the knowledge of the woman she was, yet she is! She is our wife, our sister, our aunt, our Mom , our Miss. Rachael, and most of all, our FRIEND. She gave us memories we will cherish our whole lives through. Dear Rachel, you are at peace now, and like you, we do rejoice in your peace.

Many thanks for the care and compassion of the doctors, nurses and their staff, and the prayers and kindness of family and friends thru these past 8 years in her battles of Appendicial Cancer.
