IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Harvey B.
Zurn Jr.
May 16, 1934 – January 26, 2026
Harvey B. Zurn Jr., 91, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026, in Lake Worth, FL. Born in Utica, NY, in 1934, Harvey was the son of Harvey Sr. and Lillian Zurn. He leaves behind a legacy of service and kindness that will be remembered by all who knew him.
Harvey was a man of strong moral character and a calm presence whose life was marked by a deep commitment to others. Harvey was a proud veteran, having served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. Following eight years of honorable service, he transitioned to a career in healthcare, becoming a community pharmacist. For more than four decades, he served his neighbors with unwavering dedication and compassion.
Though a professional by trade, Harvey was a playful hobbyist at heart; whether working behind the counter, building model train sets, solving crossword puzzles, writing poems, or watching classic TV Westerns, he did so with enthusiasm and joy.
An established member of the American Legion, he was best known for his hospitable spirit and always welcomed the opportunity to share a story, a laugh, and a "Cheers!" alongside an ice-cold Budweiser with everyone around him.
His gentle nature, humor, and steadfast support will be profoundly missed. He also had a special place in his heart for childhood friends, Walter Williams and Jack Newell, who had joined the Marines alongside him, fortifying their friendship into a lifelong bond as "brothers-in-battle".
Semper Fidelis.
Harvey is preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy L. Zurn, and his granddaughter, Teryl B. Zurn. He is survived by his devoted wife, Nadine Rubino; his daughter, Bernice Harman; and his step-son, Robert Rubino. He is also survived by his grandson, Justin Harman; step-grandchildren Jennifer, Emma, and Connor Rubino; and his great-granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Cassandra Luke.
