Gloria Best passed away on July 27, 2024 at the age of 97. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard of 58 yrs and her beautiful daughter Barbara Best. Gloria was born July 20, 1927 to Celia and Joseph Finkelstein in New York, New York. Gloria was loved by everyone. She was always smiling and had a real zest for life. She loved traveling and seeking new adventures. She was a crossword puzzle enthusiast and was amazing in her ability to finish them. Gloria was a "jock" very athletic. She was an accomplished ice skater and bowler in her younger years and a tennis champion even into her 70's. Gloria loved her family and enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved sharing in their lives. Gloria was an avid animal lover and had many special dogs she shared her life with. She will be greatly missed by all. Gloria is survived by daughters Diane DelDuca, Robin Best and Joanne Cannizzaro. Grandchildren; Carrie Wenzel, Stephanie Berman, Jason Murad, David Murad, Lisa Best Murad, Robert Cannizzaro and Rita Yevcak. Great Grandchildren; Richie Wenzel, Jeremy Wenzel, Bernadette Murad, Levi Murad, Chance Shefts, Alastair Cannizzaro, and Raegan Cannizzaro. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Nathaniel Finby and Richard Finer.
