Glen Elliott Thomas
It is with great sadness that the family of Glen Elliott Thomas announces his passing on December 17, 2020, at the age of 51. Glen was born on September 25, 1969 in Hermitage, TN to Gary Sr. and Sandra (Hall) Thomas. He grew up in Tennessee, Winter Garden, FL and Lakewood, Colorado. He graduated from Green Mountain High School and attended Valencia Community College.
Glen served in the United States Army as a Ranger Air Borne Specialist. A fter his honorable discharge, Glen lived in Port St. Lucie, FL where he met his wife Teena on a golf course where they both worked. Married for 22 years, they have three children, Jake Scott, Hailey Christeena and Jack Elliott and their beloved pup, Brody.
Glen had a great sense of humor and there were no shortage of laughs and pranks when he was around. His passions were baseball (especially the Chicago Cubs), coaching his children's teams, fitness coaching, sky diving, golfing and fishing. More than anything Glen loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a wonderful father, brother, uncle and loving husband.
Glen's brother Greg Thomas, nephew Riley Thomas and brother-in-laws Joseph Weinsteiger and Rob Gilbert preceded him in death.
Glen is survived by his loving wife, Teena Thomas (Weinsteiger) and his beloved children Jake, Hailey, and Jack; parents Gary, Sr. and Sandy; sister Stacy Thomas; brother Gary (Deana) Thomas Jr.; seven nieces and nephews – Gary (Grace), Jesse (Ashton), Benjamin (Heidi), Ethan (Haley); he is also survived by his wife's loving mother Carolyn Zwoyer, sister Christal Weinsteiger Crowetz (Rob) and her family Alan, Alex, Robbie and Rachel.
A private family service was held January 5, 2021. Arrangements have been entrusted to West Palm Beach National Chapel – 10005 Heritage Farms, road, Lake Worth, FL.
