George Sentelik, 80
Former Stow, Ohio resident George Sentelik, 80, died May 18, 2014, in Jupiter, Florida.
Services will be held at 2 o'clock on Friday May 23, 2014 at Palm Beach National Chapel in, Lake Worth, Florida.
A memorial mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Stow, Ohio on July 19,2014 at 10:30am.
George was born May 9, 1934, in Akron, Ohio, to William and Anna (Mino) Sentelik. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. George was employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 36 years and retired in 1988. He came to Jupiter, Florida in 1994.
George is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary A. Sentelik and his four children; Gina Sentelik of Cincinnati, Ohio, Michael G. Sentelik of Atlanta, GA, Maria Sentelik of Cincinnati, Ohio and Andrew P. Sentelik (A. Donise Sentelik) of Jupiter, FL. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; Lorena Sentelik Laverty (Jeffery Laverty), Kyle A. Roberts, Ciara L. Sentelik, Brianna M. Sentelik, Gabriella R. Sentelik, A. Carissa Sentelik, Aidan M. Sentelik, D. Zane Kuntz and Cara N. Sentelik and two great grandchildren; C. Simon Sentelik and Jax F. Laverty.
George enjoyed the outdoors; he was an avid fisherman, carpenter, talented gardener and sculpted beautiful bonsai.
